So your’re at the game, and there’s 2 minutes left in the first period, do you wait it out in fear of missing an exciting play? Or do you get up and head to the concession early to try and beat the lines?

We might not be too far off from not having to make that choice!

National Geographic recently released a little sneak peek of what future stadiums could look like – complete with drone delivery and Holographic replays!

“Imagine sitting at a stadium, and having a hot dog and a beer delivered by drone. Imagine the game-changer of watching your favorite athletes play from below, thanks to a transparent field with seating underneath. Imagine watching the LED jerseys of fellow fans light up when your team scores, or watching an instant replay courtesy of a hologram.”

Too futuristic? Or not too far off?
