According to a report by Rock SoundThe Offspring may be releasing new music by the middle of next year.

Singer Bryan Dexter Holland and guitarist Kevin Noodles Wasserman talked about songwriting for their next album and said that it’s about half-way finished.

In describing the new music, Noodles said: “The last song we did definitely sounds like an old-school. Sounds kind of like ‘Come Out Swinging’… Definitely some old-school stuff. And then some rocking stuff and some poppy punk stuff too.”

The Offspring’s most recent album, Let The Bad Times Roll, was released in 2021 and hit #1 on the U.S. Alternative Albums chart.
