Kurt Cobain’s Skystang I guitar sold at auction for $1.5 million. The new owner bid by phone during a Julien’s auction held at Nashville’s Hard Rock Café. The late rocker played the instrument his final show with Nirvana on the In Utero tour.

The blue, left-handed Fender Mustang electric guitar, is the most documented of all of Cobain’s collection and it was previously owned his brother, Chad Cobain.

This wasn’t the only article to bring in over a million. Eric Clapton’s iconic guitar, named The Fool, sold for $1.27 million.
