Kidney Walk: Walk The Block

This year, Kidney Walk is going virtual with Walk the Block across western Canada! Participate on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at 11 am and Walk the Block in your community to show our kidney community that we’ve got their backs!
Walk the Block is an opportunity to give the kidney and transplant communities a safe way to honour those affected by kidney disease and continue to raise funds for vital programs and services. Hosted by the Kidney Foundation, Kidney Walk helps support services such as financial assistance and peer support, which are now needed more than ever.

Walk the Block registration is free, and participants are asked to fundraise a minimum of $100 to receive an official event shirt. Let’s do the most we can to support those living with kidney disease in our community!

80% of the 4,500 Canadians on the organ transplant wait list are waiting for a kidney. Early detection is vital in the treatment of kidney disease. There is no cure for kidney disease, and kidney damage is irreversible.
